It's Snowing

Beauty trip. As you can see, I made it. The flight to Philly wasn’t too bad, but longer than expected. The airport was very busy, so we stayed in a holding pattern for a while. The flight to Saint Paul was a bit bumpy and seemed just a little long also. Believe it or not, it snowed in the plane. Only for me aye? Actually I kind of liked it, it reminded me of home. No one else did. I picked up a few SWARM pennants for the boys. It seems like lacrosse is doing alright out here. They fill quite a few seats at the Xcel Energy Center. I’ll get more into that later. Of course I had to stop by the Mall of America. It’s pretty big, but I’d rather see stores in a downtown setting, especially at Christmas time. There’s also a lot of nice homes along the river, and a lot of people out walking and jogging. It’s a bit humid, but I think that’s normal weather out here. I had my hockey book to read on the plane, this ones filled with a lot of old hockey stories – pretty cool stuff. I land, call my wife, then Tyler – who has my old phone. I get all that taken care of right away. Well anyways, I get a little thirsty after the plane rides, so I go looking for a soda machine when I get to my hotel. What do ya know, no orange soda. It seems like a pretty common flavor if you ask me, so what’s going on? I think maybe I should look into this while I’m out here, ya know ask around and find out why. The folks out here also seem to be big on the color green, not too big on orange. That’s something I really notice, of course I haven’t really done much research yet.
