WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30, 2008

Freshman goalie Devin Heldt of the men's lacrosse team, and freshman midfielder Maria Martusewicz of the women's lacrosse team are the Jefferson Community College co-athletes of the week.

Heldt, a 2007 graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School, stopped 21 shots in a 10-9 overtime victory over SUNY Cobleskil. A day later, Heldt also stopped 21 shots in a 13-10 victory over SUNY Delhi. He is ranked in the top eight in Region 3 with 320 saves."
