Wanted, Dead or Alive

“Wanted, Dead or Alive!” When you’re on top, everybody wants to knock you down. You can’t let your guard down against any team. This weekend we won both our games. The goal this season is to be a great team, and that’s what we are shooting for. There are things we continue to work on to improve our game little by little. This weekend the team had a party where they played “Rock star” and I got to hear a bunch of hockey players sing Bon Jovi’s “Cowboy” song many times. It seemed to fit in with some of the things I’ve been hearing. Everyone seems to be talking about this team wondering just how successful we can be this season. We’re doing real well right now, and the team is coming together as a team should. The song should say steel BLADES I ride instead of horse. I think that would work out just fine for this team. I don’t pick the songs, I just notice these things. I ask 100%, and I’m getting it. The passing is looking good, wingers are going to the net picking up rebounds, and we’re keeping the pressure on the puck. Not bad for a team that some folks expected to get crushed. Rule # 8: Never underestimate a team full of cowboys. I think this is the point where the guitar solo comes in.
