Atlanta

It is a long drive to Atlanta. I left Saturday at noon and made it here by 8:30 in the morning. It’s still better than flying though. There’s not much to see on the way down, just highway and truck stops. I called home to check how practice went, and to make sure things went well, and they did. I had a very good coach step in and run things while I’m down here. The bottom line was that the kids had a good practice. All the way down it was nice and cold, it didn’t get warm until Georgia. Well you can’t have everything. This is football country. People down here take their sport pretty serious. This is a beautiful area, with amazing homes and scenery with a nice lazy river and lots of Ivey covering everything. I get to travel to a lot of different places around the country, but home is where the family is and where the snow falls. There are a lot of nice places, but I prefer the land of ice and snow.
