Each player should go into this tournament with two main goals:
Play your best and have fun.
That's what this is all about. We worked hard this season to play our best, and have fun. I don't mean fun like " everything is a breeze and a laugh."
I mean fun like: This was great, The hockey was a blast and the team played great together ." Now we have two end of the season tournaments to enjoy and do our best" That's it. Pretty simple ideas to focus on. Play your game. If you've learned anything that's really important , it's that you can do great things when you apply yourself,and You have. Each one of you has improved your game and hopefully will walk away from this season very pleased with your accomplishments . It was never about wins or stats, it was about being great hockey players on the ice and off. You all did that very well. It's been an honor to coach each one you. Now let's go play some Hockey !
